Artist Statement

Janadi Gonzalez-Lord or “Jan” is the artist behind Janabeancreations. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, she moved to Canada in 2015 and began to paint recreationally for friends and family. She transitioned to creating commissioned professional pieces in 2020. She currently specialises in pastel paintings with a focus on pet portraits.
