Artist Statement:
I’m an amateur watercolor artist with a passion for capturing the beauty of landscapes. Born out of a lifelong love for art, my journey as a watercolorist began with self-study and a dedication to honing the craft.
Drawing inspiration from the stunning works of Mary DeLoyht-Arendt, I motivated to explore the world of watercolor painting. To further develop my skills, I sought out online instruction from renowned English artist Geoff Kersey. Under Kersey’s guidance, I refined my technique and gained confidence in my artistic abilities.
With a fondness for landscapes, my artwork often transports viewers to the rolling hills and picturesque villages of England, as well as the scenic vistas of Erie, Pennsylvania, where l called home for the past eight years.
Through my art, l aim to share the beauty and serenity of the natural world, inviting others to step into the tranquil scenes l create. As a self-taught amateur artist, l continuously seek to improve and expand my skills, I remain dedicated to exploring new techniques and perseverance in pursuit of artistic expression.
