Artist Statement

My relationship with art started with the John Nagy Lear to draw kit that I received for Christmas at age 6 or 7 yrs. High school years where heavily weighted in art followed by a year of basic design at Fanshawe College. Then life with 2 children and decades working as an emergency room trauma nurse, not much time or energy left for art. Recent retirement has changed all that.
