Artist Statement

Petrolia, Ontario was my birthplace and after the age of two, my family relocated to Sarnia. Following my completion of grade 13 at Northern Collegiate I moved to Hamilton Ontario where I completed my three year Registered Nurse diploma in 1967.

I have recently retired from London Health Sciences and have pursued my many artistic endeavors. Charcoal and ink architectural details were my initial interests but I have also enjoyed oil and acrylic painting. Any architectural elements remain my passion.

Previously, I have exhibited at Westland Gallery in London as well as Westmount Library and Williams Cafe and in 1998 my first exhibit was at Gallery in the Grove, Sarnia, Ontario. I have been a member of the Lambeth Art Association since 2012 and was thrilled, just recently, to join the St. Thomas Art Association.

I look forward to many more art exhibits as well as meeting many new friends.
