Cathy Frenette
Artist Statement:
I started painting a few years ago when someone invited me to join her in a paint class, and was hooked. Since then I have worked primarily with acrylics, but was told I sometimes use acrylics in a watercolour manner so I recently decided to try my hand at that medium.
I was raised in Southwestern Ontario, and am very proud of my rural roots. I love seeing the beauty of the world around me, and enjoy exploring my creative side while trying to capture a small bit of nature in my art.
