I am a textile artist.  Many of my works are inspired by nature and the natural world that surrounds me. I want my audience to feel the joy and peace I feel when I see a beautiful sunset or a golden autumn leaf.  To convey these messages I employ a wide variety of styles and techniques using colour and texture, line, shape and form to create mood.   While my style has been described as experimentally eclectic, I do work in series which allows me to explore a topic or technique in depth and use different approaches applicable to the topic. True to my personality, I am always looking around the corner for the next challenge and the next inspiration which will propel me further along in my artistic journey.
